ECU Rapid Prototyping Lab | |
Interventional
Informatics at East
Carolina University is a rapid prototyping
group developed for the purpose of creating and/or merging technology
and solutions to further enhance telemedicine's healthcare resources for
patients in eastern North Carolina. We are also using some of these same

Idea Lab | |
CRNR's Idea Lab acts as an environment that fosters creative solutions to the problems that are met by people with severe disabilities. We made a conscious effort to stray as far away from the traditional lab setting as possible. We have trees, nature sounds, and murals to enhance the environment.
The I-lab is where we meet with our clients and work on the development of computer interfaces and other technologies. We have a relaxation chamber, an electronics lab, and a fully equipped shop on the same floor as the I-lab. We also hold training sessions and open houses in the I-lab.

There will be people from ECU,CRNR, and MindTel at this year's RIMPAC 2000 project Strong Angel. The international civil-military collaborative effort will provide an opportunity to test various communication technologies towards the development of international protocol. We will test the rehab technologies we have with various communication technologies such as HAM radio, direct satellite, telephony, and commercial internet. |
