RIMPAC- Mission Statement

Enhance interoperability and proficiency of maritime and air forces to operate in coalition arrangements centered on a realistic short warning littoral operations.

How the exercise works and what we learn in each RIMPAC, two separate battle groups conduct independent training and operational exercises before moving into large scale free play actions in a variety of environments spanning all warfare disciplines.

• Command and control at all levels including demanding high level command experience for RAN officers;

• Operational performance in a range of testing tactical environments;
